How facts get handled

Where the site makes factual claims (dates, statistics, rules), it works from official and primary sources: town records and pages, the Duxbury Rural & Historical Society, state records, and established histories. Practical guides link to the Town's official pages, which are always the controlling authority for current fees, dates, and processes. Where history is tradition rather than settled fact, the site says so, even on the occasions when the settled-fact version would have made a better story.
